| Amanda Jane Herrmann (born September 16, 1980) is an American model and actress. She is the Playmate of the Month for the May 2008 issue of Playboy magazine. She is better known as AJ Alexander, “AJ” being a nickname given to her by her grandparents when she was 7 years old.Alexander, who is of German, English and Native American descent, started performing in commercials for her father’s putt-putt golf business when she was 9 years old. Eventually she moved to Orange County, California to pursue a full-time career as a model. She made her film debut in the upcoming comedy American Summer, in which she plays a deaf DJ. | ||||||||||||||||
