| How’s this for a holiday gift? Twins who unwrap themselves. Meet the winning pair of Jennifer and Natalie Campbell, 22-year-old identical twins from Colorado who delight in their differences despite their obvious similarities. Both played volleyball in high school, both attended the University of Northern Colorado, both have dogs, and they all live together. Jennifer, the older twin (left, on the opposite page — we think), feels she is more of a girlie-girl and more studious, notwithstanding her racy tattoo — a butterfly on her lower stomach. Natalie describes herself as more of an athletic tomboy who enjoys boating, camping and fishing. “Our parents were really good about letting us be individuals,” says Jennifer. “We each definitely have our own personality.” | ||||||||||||||||

| Something about Grace Kim really strikes a chord with us, and it’s not just the way she handles her instrument. When we met the guitar goddess during her shoot at Playboy Studio West, her enthusiasm about life was infectious. “I’ve always been a rebel,” says Grace. “I play a mean game of Guitar Hero, and I’m willing to challenge anybody. I must warn you I’m a very sore loser — at any game.” Creative expression is vital to Miss November — “I feel I can express myself better through writing. It’s a pure, passionate love of mine” — and music and art are in her genes. Her mom is a calligrapher, her dad a violinist and her brother a pianist and guitarist. An L.A. girl born and raised, Grace has made three visits to South Korea, from which her family emigrated in 1979. “I have relatives in Seoul, and I went to Korean school to learn to read and write the language.” | ||||||||||||||||

| Something special is happening in Florida: Flip through your Playboy issues of the past few years and you’ll notice a surprising number of Sunshine Staters appearing as the Centerfold. The latest is Kelly Carrington, who was born in New York and spent a couple of years in Sweden before putting down roots in the small seaside town of Stuart, Florida. (Also known as — anyone? Anyone? The Sailfish Capital of the World.) “Everyone there is passionate about the ocean, whether it’s deep-sea fishing, water sports or just congregating on sandbars and islands,” says Kelly. “Every weekend I was out on my dad’s boat, or in high school I’d go out on my friends’ boats.” On dry land the 22-year-old studies public relations at the University of Florida and gives it up big-time for the Gators. “The best thing about my college is football season,” she says. “People get dolled up for the games and decked out in orange and blue. Everyone tailgates. It’s the thing to do here.” Though she loves being in the stands on game day, Kelly isn’t afraid to step into the arena: She’s an accomplished athlete who played lacrosse and volleyball competitively. “In eighth grade I won a four-foot trophy as female athlete of the year,” she recalls. “It’s my most prized possession.” | ||||||||||||||||
